The Alcatel 2020A vacuum pump is an oil-sealed rotary vane pump with a pumping speed of 15 cfm and an ultimate pressure of 1 x 10-4 Torr. Alcatel 2020 pumps are dual stage mechanical pumps that can be used to obtain a medium vacuum (up to 10-3 mbar) or in pumping assemblies to back a diffusion pump or turbomolecular pump.
The 2020A vacuum pump is a rotary vane pump with a ¾ hp motor. This vacuum pump is for general purpose applications and can be used in laboratories or industry. Typical applications include: vacuum distillation, epoxy degassing, mass spectrometry, freeze drying and others.
